International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers
We believe it is a natural right of working people to enjoy to the full extent the wealth created by their labor. We believe that given the state of work in our current world, people must unite to obtain the full reward of their labor. We believe that working people should exercise their rights cooperatively and economically for the benefit of all people.
Therefore, we, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), pledge ourselves to work for our Members to continue to preserve and grow the IAM on the basis of solidarity and justice, and to strive for a higher standard of living for people who work.
Regardless of your specific needs, the union is here to help. Union members:

Guide Dogs of America empowers people to live with greater confidence, mobility and independence by providing expertly matched service dog partners.

The IAMAW is a strong supporter of Guide Dogs of America and we are proud of the role in the founding of the school. Over 60 years ago a retired member, Joseph Jones, Sr. lost his sight. Weighing his options, along with the help from IAMAW, the International Guiding Eyes was formed. It started with one member needing help, with everyday life, to the hundreds of thousands of members who continue to be generous and dedicated since 1948. In addition to helping so many people live independently, GDA also provides dogs to Vets with PTSD and those with Autism.
